I continue to call for an inquiry into the impact on farmers, fishers, and indigenous lands of Labor’s ‘Rewiring the Nation’ plan. Thus far, Labor, The Greens and Independent Senator David Pocock have moved to block the inquiry.

The people of regional and rural Australia are being forgotten in Labor’s approach to connecting Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) to the populated capital cities.

“We need a bigger voice, and we need a lot more people to help fight this thing otherwise we are going to go down the gurgler,” second generation Mid West farmer Mr Hackney said.
