Water management is a defining issue in regional Australia, and the Coalition is listening to communities concerned about environmental water use, water buybacks and the real-world impacts of current policy settings.

That’s why the Nationals will introduce a Commission of Inquiry into the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder to stand up for farmers, irrigators and regional communities and ensure environmental water management is not undermining the Murray-Darling Basin and Australia’s agricultural sector.
